Some other regions place all of their wines in the designation, but here only red wines made from the BlaufrĂ€nkisch grape variety qualify. Eisenberg DAC replaced the SĂŒdburgenland regional designation; for a time the two names were combined in some texts. Other wines may be produced in the area under the Burgenland appellation.
