Bachelet Monnot Bourgogne Cote d’Or 2023

Bachelet Monnot Bourgogne Cote d’Or 2023

This superb Bourgogne Blanc is drawn from some seriously impressive terroir - 1.3-hectares of 20-50-year-old vines in the Puligny area (spread across four parcels) and a plot of young vine in Chassagne on chalky soil. These vineyards combined with the quality of the viticulture, harvest date and confident, hands-off winemaking, gifts one of the best value white Burgundies in our portfolio.

At first, the Bachelet-Monnot, Bourgogne Blanc has a fruity attack but it refines and refocuses as it dances across your palate with a long, tapering, Puligny-esque finish. Bourgogne from the Puligny commune that very much tastes like it; refined, yellow fruits turning to citrus rind and minerals on a fine finish. Very sophisticated and attractive Bourgogne.
